MANILA, Philippines — Authorities dismantled a drug den in Parañaque City on Monday evening.

Parañaque police seized 225 grams of shabu (crystal meth) estimated to be worth P1,530,000 and arrested four “high-value” individuals during the operation in Barangay Melville at 8:05 p.m., the Southern Police District (SPD) said.

A caliber 9mm pistol with an inserted magazine and live ammunition were also recovered from the scene.

According to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO), operatives arrested Mark Anthony Ozores, 25; Reymar Cena, 27; Edjane Agana, 33; and Reynaldo Lipata Jr., 37. They will face complaints for violating the Dangerous Drugs Act.

The SPD said Lipata, who was said to be the primary suspect, would also face complaints for violating the Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

In a statement on Tuesday, the NCRPO encouraged the public to report suspicious activities related to illegal drugs and firearms through its online Law Enforcement Request Information System.
