SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Afternoon classes in Palauig, Zambales, were canceled on Tuesday, Nov. 12, due to heavy rains in the northern part of the province.
The Palauig Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council announced the cancelation, effective noon.

Typhoon Nika (international name: Toraji) exits the Philippine Area of Responsibility as Tropical Storm Ofel (international name Usagi) intensifies upon entry. Ofel is expected to make landfall in northern or Central Luzon on Thursday. INQ
